About
Join a Claude Community Event, organized by local enthusiasts for everyone who loves building with Claude! The first Claude meetup in the Triangle, hosted at American Underground in downtown Durham. This one is for people who are building. Whether you're already deep into Claude Code or just poking at your first API call, you'll fit right in. Come as you are and bring what you're working on. We start at 6 with food and hellos. Then a short talk with a live demo, a talk from a local builder, and after that an open floor where you tell us what you want this group to be. We pick the next date, topic, and speaker together. The rest of the night is open networking, which is most of the evening on purpose. Speakers: Jack Zhang, Claude Community Ambassador, Research Triangle Park Adam Schifferdecker, Triangle Startups. "1,300 commits I didn't write": how Claude Code quietly took over his strategy-and-ops job, and the review loop that makes it safe to merge. Run of Show: 6:00pm: Doors. Grab food and a drink, get a name tag, say hello. 6:15pm: Welcome. Who we are and why this group exists. 6:25pm: Introduction 6:50pm: "1,300 commits I didn't write." Adam Schifferdecker of Triangle Startups on the workflow behind a production app where 80% of commits come out of Claude Code sessions. 7:05pm: A short lightning talk 7:15pm: Networking. 7:55pm: Last call. We're out at 8.
